Don't remember, does the Quest have 2 heating elements? If so sounds like
one is either bad or bad connections etc.

Ultimately the quest for Koffee Nirvana is a solitary path. To know I must
first not know. And in knowing know I know not. Each Personal enlightenment
found exploring the many divergent foot steps of Those who have gone before.

Subject: [Homeroast] Help with Quest

I have had my Quest roaster for 5 years now with no problems. Today I went
to roast and noticed it was taking a long time to roast.the first batch.
Roast time was even longer for the second batch. The third batch did not
roast but baked instead. I then noticed when I turned the heat all the way
up the meter only read 5 amps. The meter all the way on always registered
10 amps. Why is the machine only producing half the heat it has always
produced?
