"almost a decade", highly likely has earned new set of burrs not just a
rest. Have you called Baratza tech support?

Subject: [Homeroast] Grinder has stopped grinding evenly

Hello all,

I have a Baratza Maestro Plus grinder that has stopped grinding evenly. It
churns out a mix of fines and large flakes; it even sounds a little odd.
I've removed and cleaned the burr ring, adjusted the calibration screw
setting, all to no avail. The machine has been a loyal and trusted companion
for almost a decade. Is there anything else I can try, or has it earned a
much-needed rest?

Thanks,

David
