Thanks for the quick response, wish I had seen this company years ago. 
Do you mind sharing which material you used? The Arimid fabric? Aluminum
(Silicone) foil backed fiberglass? 
Ideally I would like to have the insulation on the inside of the BBQ grill,
but a blanket seems the more likely solution, probably similar to yours.
