Not sure about the Brazil, but I've had that happen on other
peaberry roasts. All of a sudden I'm in the middle of a rolling
2nd crack while totally missing 1st. Found I had to back off my
initial temp to get the 1st to be audible.

I'm using an RK drum, so of course, ymmv

Subject: [Homeroast] Brazil Carmo de Minas Peaberry

Hello. I recently bought the Brazil Carmo de Minas Peaberry, and
roasted
it yesterday. I couldn't hear any FC at all when I roasted it.
Is this
normal for peaberrys? I've only roasted a Kenya peaberry before,
and it
had an audible FC.

Thanks
