Hah ! !  Diggs reports that Starbucks' CEO says best coffee is made at
home.  He uses unnamed Sumatra and pours "rolling boil" water onto
coarse grounds in French Press.  Drinks it black.

To think that despite having come such a long way the poor bugger
could have even finer coffee if he used cooler water, and finer yet if
he got beans from Sweet Maria's, roasted them at home and ground them
at their peak ! ! !

And maybe he should check out the practice of millions of Europeans
who have experimented for centuries with the joys of the table.  He
might join them in cafe-au-lait for breakfast and the unalloyed stuff
the rest of the day.

And the busy guy might save a minute or two of his valuable time by
using  Aeropress-with-steel-filter or Vac Pot, and a finer grind.   Of
course, a CEO might not be interested in the small saving he could get
this way.

But maybe he has a point with Sumatra.  Believe I'll order a few
pounds, even though Tom rates them a tad below the best Africans and
Contra muros, mater rubicolla
