Got mine from Tom close to a decade ago. Tips? Yes. Has smallest burrs of
all the Zasses, don't be in a hurry and crank a LOT! But what I don't like
about it is the handle won't fit inside for travel like with many Turkish

Subject: [Homeroast] Brass Zass

Well, Zippity Doo Dah! (Anybody remember Song of the South?)

I finally picked up a used brass Zass for a decent price.
I have two wooden Zasses, but have never used one of these. If I remember
right, it is best used for fine grinding, esp. Turkish. I hope I can get a
grind out of it that is right for a Hario table top vacuum pot, but have my
Skerton dedicated for that now.

Does anybody have one of these and tips on using one of these?
