One more thing- It's a machine, and there is no magic involved. Cleanliness
is the first step in machine maintenance. Machines don't prevaricate-
they're just tattle-tales. Good maintenance is good. You might fool
yourself, not the machine.

You could be experiencing a "power dip" between 10am and 2pm when everyone
is at work and has all their stuff turned on. Have you correlated the times
of day?

If "...[You] would expect that it would not normally [cycle] until 482 if
that is what it's set at," What were you looking for and how were you
looking- temperature dial? Where is its measuring point? Better yet, was zum
Teufel do you want, Temperature or Taste?

PID controllers do that all day long- they just have to "learn" the system
dynamics first.

Cheers, Mabuhay -RayO, aka Opa!

If "Some clean" is good, mo is betta and you might detect an incipient
failure before it makes blue fire and smoke - or nothing works...
